National Park Loop Recommendations

If you have one full day, I really recommend exploring the National Park Loop. It is one of the most beautiful rides in Phong Nha.

Instead of trying to visit every attraction, I suggest choosing two or three main stops so you can enjoy the journey without rushing.

You can start with the Botanical Garden, where you can walk through the forest, see a small waterfall at the end. 2k walk through tropical garden

After that, visit Paradise Cave, one of the biggest and most impressive dry caves in Vietnam. The wooden walkway inside the cave makes it easy to explore.

If you still have time, you can continue to Dark Cave for ziplining, kayaking and a mud bath, or stop at Commander Cave ( can be choose this or botanical garden), a historic cave that was used as a military command shelter during the Vietnam War.

The best part of this trip is not only the caves. The roads through the national park are beautiful. You will ride through quiet forests, small villages and peaceful countryside and ferry crossing.

One section follows Historic Road 20 (Đường 20 Quyết Thắng). During the war, this road was an important part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Today, it is very quiet, with almost no houses, making it one of the most scenic roads in the park.

If you complete the full loop, you can cross the river by the local ferry before returning to the Farmstay. It is a relaxing way to finish the ride.
